Thanks for the very interesting links! This is the sort of post I mostly come here to find; I'd never have seen this otherwise.
What do you make of the two different interpretations of the same data (i.e. spheres vs. disks)? |

That's amazing...
Some beings somewhere are helping us someway
There's apparently a great way of developement in those crop circles
Thanks for those links _________________ Live as one, Live as love, Live as God

crop circles are a very ancient visual language that has been forgotten by modern man. In ancient times this was the common form of communication. Crop circles are all encoded like Mayan, Mimbres and Aztec Art. |

| I invented crop circles before your pathetic planet was even born! They're actually called "ovibeutgs". |

Thanks, Kent. I forwarded the video link to all my boys--techies all.

Thanks, Kent.
Looks like some people are forming hypotheses about the meaning of the circles, and testing those hypotheses.
This is good ole scientific method applied to an enigma.
The message in the circles may be susceptible to such analysis.
The message in the circles may also be decoded by how they make the observer feel.
Time will tell. _________________ The world is a garment the soul wears. |

Soxenfuss, I am so excited.
I have been archiving these graphics without the least understanding of what they might have signified.
Now, I'm excited, that coherence shows.
Wow.
When can I particpate in the synthesis of something new?
Any day now?

| Unless they somehow help us get rid of the elite, we will never benefit from the knowledge they are sharing. Do they understand that this is a prison planet, and the majority of us are getting the old standard mushroom treatment? |

I'm wondering about the counterbalancing of the tetrahedron. The web site didn't say how little force was required to lift the leg after it was counterbalanced. Presumably, it could have been adjusted until only a few milliNewtons would be able to tip it upward. If that's the case, then how careful were they to eliminate static charging of the sphere as a cause? Very quick and dirty, since I'm busy:
Assuming the sphere looks like a point charge from outside (which should be close, using Gauss's Law):
F = Eo q1q2/r^2
Assume there was some sort of mirror charge effect in the insulator, so q1 = q2 = q on the sphere; then
F = Eo q^2/r^2
Solving for q, assuming we know the force generated by the charged system:
q = r sqrt(F / Eo)
Distance is about 10 cm (?) from the center of the sphere to the insulator, so
q = (0.1 m) sqrt((1 x 10^-3 N)/(8.988×10^9 N m2 C-2)) = 3.35 x 10^-8 Coulombs
What voltage would this imply in the spherical shell?
V = Eo q/r = (8.988×10^9 N m2 C-2) (3.35 x 10^-8 C) / (0.1 m) = 3.01 kV
I think that's doable, without any antigravitational effects.
Back of the envelope says that they have to tell us a lot more about the amount of counterbalancing involved. |

Judas reportedly felt that unless Jesus was willing to take over the government, there was no point to his ministry.
Maybe the message in the circles will not help us resolve our difficulties with the killer elite. Maybe it will help us learn to accept things as they are.
Or maybe they are designs for weapons. _________________ The world is a garment the soul wears. |

greendog, what would it take to actually DO one of these?
The Feds are such fuck-ups.
I'm fascinated.

Hi Chaiyah, if I udnerstood the whole "watersphere" idea, it seemed to imply that there was plumbing as well as the microwave guide. It looked to be two layers, with water in one layer and microwaves in the other. My impression is that it would be too much work and cost too much for the average experimenter to do, given the very low probability of success. It's also not a good idea to play around with magnetrons from commercial microwaves unless you know what you're doing! You don't want to go sticking any part of your body under or near one of those while it's operating, that's for sure.
If I had time to look at it more carefully, I'd have a better idea of whether it's worth it just for the heck of it. I wasn't convinced by their interpretations of the symbols, so right now, I'd say it is a project I wouldn't do. Way too much money and time for way too little chance of success.
I could be wrong; I often am. |

I can't wait.
